We are a 2nd Generation family-owned electrical contracting firm that operates out of South Amboy, New Jersey with over 45 years of serving the community. Being a family owned business affords us the personal level of involvement in our projects that our customers want, and ensures a quality project every time. We are associated with I.BE.W. Local Union #456 in North Brunswick. Our company is licensed, insured, bonded, and OSHA Compliant. We work performing all aspects of the electrical trade. Areas of expertise include but not limited to voice data/fiber, power distribution centers, life-safety maintenance, fire alarm, high voltage, site work, and infrared/thermal imaging.

Our previous projects include both new construction and service/renovations. Occupied and fully operational job sites are never a problem. We specialize in Education/Healthcare/Office Fit-outs. We also plan, manage, and build multi-phase jobs for all of clients. We do it all.

M-P Electrical Contractors, Inc. has completed numerous projects as both prime and sub-contractor. We have performed work for private and public sector companies for over 40 years maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality. Our staff is committed to above standard measures both on and off the job. We take pride in what our staff provides to our customers. Our technicians are certified Foreman and Journeyman Electricians and go through a 5 year Training Program. They have provided years of dedication not only to M-P Electrical Contractors, Inc. but to our customers as well.

We specialize in Higher Education & InstitutionaI , Industrial, Commercial, Office Fit-Outs, Teledata, Data Centers, and Healthcare Work. Performing all aspects of the electrical trade including complete office & lecture hall renovations, voice data/fiber, power distribution centers, life-safety maintenance, fire alarm, high voltage, site work, parking lot light poles, infrared testing and thermal imaging.
Equipment
We inventory a complete line of voice/data/fiber/equipment, thermal imaging equipment along with hand, hydraulic and electrical tools required for the Electrical Trade. We presently own seven work vehicles including a 55′ high reach platform truck, a 60′ high reach platform truck and five hydraulic work platforms.
